Butterflys are very new for me to paint.   I have taken oh so many amazing images on photography so I thought I’d try a few.  I loved painting this on Yupo treeless paper.  I still have details and making it flow a whole lot more but, oh so fun.

Surreal kind of selling my art this morning….

September 17, 2014

My honey is laying tile again and he hurts, so when he gets home he pretty much crashes after dinner.  Last night was no different only earlier.

so at 2am he gets up, and soon after

“Are you awake?” very lightly I hear through the dark..

After a pause,

had to think if I was or not,

“yes” I whisper.

“You sold

‘t w o’

pieces.

Mailbox money honey,

while you are sleeping ! !  !” he exclaimed.

And I’ve been dazy ever-sense .  Nice way to wake up for sure…..

I wrote her later:

“Sharon,
Thank you, Thank you so Very much.
I adore these pieces and so glad you do too. My honey woke me up in the middle of the morning about two am and all day I felt a dreamy sort of feeling. Don’t know if that makes any sense to you, but anyway.
As soon as I pick up these gilcees I will get them out and send you an email with a tracking number.
peace n abundance,
CheyAnne

when Sharon wrote back

“It certainly does make sense to me. New Mexico is so incredibly beautiful. It is my home state. These photographs capture the light and the Spirit of New Mexico.”

Oh what a compliment, thank you.  I first saw, really saw New Mexico when I was in my twenties on a road trip away from my young family for the first time.  Amazing light and rolling hills and glorious mountains, not to mention the weather.

Thanks so much for more inspiration to capture and post more New Mexico landscapes.

peace”

What a blessing people bring back when they purchase, with their hard-earned cash, a piece and two of mine.

feeling very blessed and abundant,

CheyAnne

I know I need to post and

August 26, 2014

feel bad because I haven’t.

I love to write and post images of either my captures from my camera or a new painting I’m working on.  Lately I get so wrapped up in just painting or editing that I don’t have the time to, or the energy either.  Life gets busy and wonderful and quite lovely and it’s hard to write about art when you are just busy living it:

so random images ahead:

Danielle’s custom spring-green-tree in it’s new home

A brand new customer came to Etsy and found a watercolor tree of mine that she loved. She asked me more about sizes and prices and we came together on a custom original  12×16 with a 1″ border for $65. plus shipping.  She loved it so much that she sent me a picture and I just adore seeing it framed up, don’t you?

I just adore this little flowers that look just like little sky diamonds dropped down on this Earth just to give us Joi.

sweet little fox family

This incredible female fox was living with her 3 (that I counted) little cubs next to a road a friend lives on.  This was taken through a fence, she is not fenced in at all.  It was the only way I could capture her with my little Sony.  Isn’t she amazingly beautiful?

Told you it would be random

all of these either are listed, or can be for sale.

When first I saw her this morning – poem

September 4, 2011

When first I saw her this morning

I was captured in her glance

As I gazed upon her world

I began to see with mine own eyes

All there was to see

in the flat river valley below

El Salto in north-eastern New Mexico

and I am for-ever grateful.  Thank you
