too, too long

October 20, 2013

I’ve been neglecting my blog, my art, my exercise too.  I just cannot fit it all in.  How do people who work 30- to 40 or more hours every single week get anything done’?

August????? where did you go?

August 30, 2013

My goodness,

And I thought I was really do ok for me with my postings, or so I thought.  And now here it is the next-to-last-day of August, 2013.

I guess I was so much busier than I thought I was:

can’t resist.

My daughter and her love, Kawika came to visit in later August and I am one proud mama.  She is growing or I ought to say ‘has’ grown into a remarkable young woman and she has found a mate for herself that is as wonderful and beautiful as she is.

I watered my gardens this way with such love and caring hoping they would show-off their finery just for these young lovers on their first road-trip out of Washington, and they did:

lots and lots of amazing sweet, nourishing rain-storms came and gave blessing to our part of the world.  And we loved it….everyone, even those people that are use to complaining about the weather, were quiet in their verbal blessing of joy and bliss, and we got more rain:

A few years back the meadows of El Prado turned blue, but then they didn’t. Wildflowers come in waves of differences over the time of years.  Does that make sense.  Watching the patterns are so wonderful for me,  the progression of times changing and growing.

I adore these wild flowers and they really didn’t bloom this year at all,  (actually this was taken in July of 08)  but I was missing them, because they come in waves as well.  It all depends on rain, how much we get and when.  What time of year it rains, plays a hugh part in what blooms and what doesn’t in that season.

I love this even slightly fuzzy, because it reminds me of all the big storms we’ve been having.  I adore rain, thunder and no lightning storms. Actually I love the lightning too, but NOT this year, not here.

My crowning glory this year and Rachael loved them.

My daughter and her mate were coming and having a bit of a few bumps in the road getting the final details together, so I got into the uplifting, think positive quote thing going on.  I posted this on Facebook for her.  and she made it and we got to meet Kawika.  What a  joyous way to spend August, 2013.

Peace n Abundance,

Two sales, Two birthdays, One Treasury, One Blog write-up

February 25, 2010

that I’m a part of today.  What an incredible, AWESOME, fantastic day it’s been.

First off it’s my Sweet-Pea’s birthday today.  She, my daughter turned 26 on this birthday.  I am so very proud of her courage and grace.  What a life so far, huh Rachael?

Doing a check of my sites for the day and found out I sold my second painting, Calif Poppy to Linda whose blog Shoreacres  I know through our blogs.  An incredible writer whose words put you right into that moment, and makes you feel as if you lived or are living it at the moment she is describing.  I love how it all flows together so elegantly.  check out her blog  and you’ll be hooked. California Poppy, Watercolour Original

Thank you Linda very, very much for all the wonderful encouragement.

It is also our friend Kenny’s 47th birthday which he, his wife Alison, my honey Leonardo and I celebrated at Eske’s Brew Pub, here in Taos New Mexico tonight.
Then when we get home this evening I find out that I sold another,

Apple Blossom's of Spring

my third original watercolor painting  to Lauren, who I come to find out bought my first original watercolour ‘Linda’s Rose’#1 a few weeks back (#2 is still avaialbe ) .  Thank You so Very much Lauren. ( I would send people your way if I could).

When I check my convo’s I find out that Shannon from The CleverKitty has not only posted a blog write-up about Iris’ , but she included my ‘Purple Popsicle Iris’ in this beautiful mix (which is still for sale).

Purple Popcicle Iris

and she snagged a treasury as well, and included my Purple Popsicle again

strange feelings goin’ round

September 20, 2008

is anyboby else feeling weird, strange, not quite right these days?

I’m getting ready for my mini road trip to ABQ and then up to Durango with my daughter to help pack my son up for his move  north to Washington, so I should be totally estatic, but there is just some sort of something going on.

Anyway………
