I’ve been wanting to blog

Golden Ponies in the Evening Glow of Sunset photography

Golden Ponies in the Evening Glow of Sunset photography by CheyAnne Sexton

I sometimes see stories in my mind’s eye that I want to write down or write about.  Yet life, real life, my-real-life gets so full of everything I want to do, that blogging doesn’t seem to be high on the honey-doo list, (yes I have one for myself) ( but only in my head).

So I don’t blog, but it has been in my thoughts lately and that’s how things come into my life.  Is giving them thoughts and wonder and what-ifs.

and suddenly 2 of the newsletters I follow are about blogging challenges:

Take your pic:

Alex is an awesome teacher and great coach.

and

Problogger is amazing in all he knows, retains and teaches to us.

Haven’t checked them all out yet, but I am blogging

I’m just lucky I had time to blog this post.

Hope all is well in your world and you are relishing and delighting in summertime!  Full on hot-fun-in-the-sun kinda summer.

peace n abundance,

April springtime in northern New Mexico photographs

April 12, 2014

Starting my day driving  up to the ski valley, I caught this Red-breasted Robin high in the red willows behind a snow covered green willow tree.  What a delight

was taking a co-worker home I headed up into El Salto in a typical springtime day of snow showers interspersed with sunshine:

all the sap is rising around here and it’s turning everything rich red and saturated greens pushing through the gold colors left over from autumn and winter:

The whole hillside is bleating with sheep calls (which unfortunately I was too far away from) and the birdcall was as plentiful as the snow flurries:

the sun shining and glistening off of all the rich colors every where I looked:

Hope you liked my photography story of El Salto, New Mexico on a snowy day in April.

As always if you see anything you can’t live without on your own walls,  just let me know and I can invoice you easy-peasy.

Beavers were here and that excites me.  For some reason beavers fascinate me and this is my best find EVER. The shavings are still fresh and they created a beautiful circle around this cottonwood.  And check out the bite marks they have in the wood above the cut.  So very cool in my book
