I was itching to try another butterfly

colors used: Translucent Orange, chrome Orange, winsor Violet, Olive Green, Quin yellow

and here is the 16th watercolour:

colors used: Translucent Orange, chrome orange, Yellow Bright Green, Phthalocyanine Blue,

this little chuparosa / hummingbird has been calling to me to paint a watercolor for quite a while.

Will be adding to my ETsy shop all the time for either the original or prints, always giclee prints.

    I love both your hummingbird and your butterfly, CheyAnne! I’ve not taken the time to try Yupo-I think it’s mostly because it’s hard enough to “master” watercolor on good quality paper (as we know, it’s never mastered)!

    Hi Elaine, Thank you so much and welcome. Yupo is actually quite fun because it’s not so serious (unless you want to keep it of course) It’s great practice and if you don’t care for it just wipe it off and start again. Be aware that some colors are staining, but other than that you get a clean slate to start fresh. Thanks for the visit and comments, peace
