Thank you bunches Beth. I had no idea the photos would all come out together but it was fun to add them. The butterflies have been extremely scarce this year here in New Mexico so I feel pretty lucky to capture these.
Thanks for that Sally. We call her KittyCo. She is a nursing mama kitty that has adopted us out here in the high mountains of New Mexico and we love her. We are encouraging her to bring her babies but not yet. Hopefully soon so we can find them good homes and get her fixed too.
Lookie! It’s me, who’s fallen behind in my blogging, too! But my goodness – that photo of the kitty with the purple flowers is wonderful. Actually, the expression on her face somewhat resembles the expression on the bird’s face. They could have quite a stare-down.
It’s all happiness around here – we’ve got some real rain at least, and are projected to have a couple of wet days in a row. Who knows how much rain we’ll get, but at least a couple of inches and maybe much more. There’s nothing like a “free” day at home to catch up with things!
Oh how true that is about free days and catching up. So glad rain is coming your way. We are sure getting out of our drought here in New Mexico these days and loving that too. The kitty-co is a little wild nursing Mama kitty that we are becoming quite attached too. She is letting us know through the window and around the other side of the house that she would like to be fed now….. Such a sweetie she is.
Have a wonderful weekend
Thank you very much Bill. I almost didn’t include it these images, but I kept going back to it so I thought I ought to and now I’m glad I did. Dragonflies are amazing to me and hard to capture in flight, so I’m lucky this one sat still for so long.
