I drove over to Louisiana last weekend and was so pleased to see some fields of flowers in bloom. I hear the bluebonnets and such are really fine in the hill country of Texas, too – it’s spring, and you’ve captured a beautiful bit of it!

The cardinal is ready at the frame shop – I’m going to wait until it’s not raining to go pick her up, though.

Linda, how fun and I’m super happy and can’t wait to see a shot of where you put her up.
and actually these aren’t bluebells they are penstemon, purple ones. This valley up in the mountains east of Taos, is called Moreno Valle in Spanish, Purple Valley in English. Just carpets of it. Last year not to much, due to dry. Mine were having a hard time even staying alive.
    how is your spring?
