Lemon Chiffon pie Yellow Daffodil

I am just having so much fun learning how to texture. This beautiful textures came from irisb477
she lets you use her textures when you link back to her and that’s fine by me, because it is all so fun.

This is so beautiful to me – mostly because it’s my favorite shade of yellow. I call it “lemon chiffon pie yellow”. Soft, very much a 1950’s Easter-dress yellow.

I like the texture, too. But with this one, it’s all about the color for me. Actually, I suppose the texture has something to do with achieving that color!

here you go Linda, I LOVE that, thank you so much

Oh, my goodness! Look at that!

You know, that color was such a part of my childhood because there was a restaurant called Stone’s in Marshalltown, Iowa. We went there every time I had to go to the eye doctor, and I always ordered their “Mile High Lemon Chiffon Pie”. I even found the recipe online!

If you ever want to make the best lemon pie in the world, here it is!

    Hi CheyAnne,
I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for your comments about my new photography business. To answer your questions, I was a little apprehensive about going “pro,” and didn’t feel right about charging the full price that other photographers command in my area. So I backed off a little on the pricing — the other photographer in my town charges almost $300. just for the session. Prints are extra, and she does not sell digital negatives or CD’s. Feel free to email me if you have any more questions:

I’m so glad I came to look around your blog. Your images are beautiful! And I totally understand how you can get hooked on Photoshop, and textures too! 🙂

I know what you mean about prices. I want to make it affordable for anyone, not just people with lots of money. And I totally want to make the CD available to them as well, but the prices I’m seeing other photographers charge is just way out of line in my opinion. Yet I would like to make a living doing what I love, which is photography and art. So I’m on the fence about everything. (another way to put it off I think) Thank you so much for coming by and leaving some comments.

I would love to hear from you, thanks. I also really enjoy knowing how you came across my little piece of this world wide web we live in...
