on an afternoon was we were listening to coast-to-coast

my new Yellow Rose blossom

I love, love, love yellow roses.  When my husband (at the time) and I brought our first son home from the hospital, my yellow rose was blooming and I fell in love with this color.  I really adore the yellow that is tinged with pink on the edges, but it seems a little harder to find.  This is a Knockout from Wal-Mart.  Seems to be doing pretty well with a little rose food and moisture.  So out came my watercolours, just to sketch, not necessarily produce a finished painting.

and I tried another one with a darker background, but lost my momentum

Here is the subject that another Blogger was posting about and how fun her post was.  A beautiful wooden chair that had been in the family forever, she had inherited it and painted it shiny black with pink and orange stripe cushions.  How fun,….. so I thought I would post a scan of a sketch I did of my favorite chair years ago.

Pink Hearted Peacock

I just love to doodle in watercolor.  this was inspired by a metal wall thing on etsy. I’ve always wondered how people got such hugh hits on one item and then I fugured it out.  Just keep relisting.  You don’t have to wait until the listing period is over.  Just go to your relist items down the left side of your listing page.  I like to go edit first and check on new tags I might want to add or maybe lower my price abit, (since we’re all in the same boat and inexpensive means affordable for others).  so when you relist often, you are spending another .20¢ per relist (so it CAN add up).  But it puts you back out on the front page and anywhere people are watching you.  so good luck with your relists and I hope you sell soon.
