It’s Winter watercolour time

some little watercolors I created thinking of winter because well, it’s winter:

took this with the evening sun shining through it and it made it glow.

Here’s what it looks like without the back-light

not winter I know but hey I love painting trees.

And birds, I love me some birds.  This little guy was inspired by a Field Sparrow that came to our feeders one day.  And only one day, I haven’t seen it since.  Must have been migrating through.

If you ever want to buy any of my art I will pay shipping to your place.  Each picture ought to take you to the link to buy it and then I will reimburse your shipping costs, easy-peasy.

Have a beautiful and lovely day,

CheyAnne

Actually, I like your purple tree and the little bird the best! I’ve got nothing against Christmas at all – but those two are special. Of the others, I like the top one best – so lovely. But the backlighting you showed is pretty cool, too!

Me too Linda about christmas. Thought I would paint some for my Etsy shop and really liked how they turned out. I love the two pine trees the best too. Hope you are staying warm down there. peace

I really like your 1st image of trees and the little field sparrow. I would love to paint with watercolours…maybe someday. :)

Are you sure, sure about that Jim… welcome home from Costa Rica

Beth, do you have some watercolor paints? any? It’s not hard, the trick is to use water. And then it’s a piece of love

These are really beautiful, Chey Anne! Love the backlit photo, too. Makes the tree glow like magic. :)

  10. newmexicomtngirl Says:

Hey thanks for that Georgianna, that’s what I thought too. Love seeing you here.

Ironically my interest in photography started because I wanted to take pictures of things and draw them. Lately, I have been thinking about the drawing part more and your post was very inspiring because I know you do both, art and photography. I think I have to make some time for the art. I have to look at my art supplies and see what I can do. :)

right and carry something with you. When you have a free moment just sketch something, anything…. a knot on a tree a quick little bird sketch, your own hand or foot. Just start with something

I would love to hear from you, thanks. I also really enjoy knowing how you came across my little piece of this world wide web we live in...
