I miss this site so much. Now that we are finally in our Sugar Shack, which now has a new nickname of ‘The Fort’, we are as happy as can be. Our next project of major importance is getting internet. We are working on a few avenues that might work, but nothing solid yet. So I still have to come to a coffee shop to surf at all, and they just aren’t as fun or comfortable as home.
Can’t wait to be back and thank everyone for still checking out my site.

ooooohhh me too. I don’t miss it so much in the summer with all there is to do, but now that winter has hit us here in Northern New Mexico I can feel the stir-crazies comin’ on

CheyAnne!
So glad to see your post! I suppose having a house for the winter is better than having internet for the winter, but still… I do understand how much nicer it would be to have it at home.
I’ve had a lovely time ranging through your site in your “absence”, and really look forward to more in the future. “The Fort” is such a good name – it sounds more New Mexico-ish. Sugar Shack is good, too, but it sort of sounds to me like the Florida Keys or something.
Anyhow, my best to you. We’ve had a front come through overnight and I’m waiting for skies to clear and things to dry off so I can get back to work on the docks. I like being tucked in with my coffee and computer, but it doesn’t pay the bills!
Oh – and I never did get back to you about the 100th comment business.
Every time I came to look I just got busy looking and never chose! That’s ok – having you back is good enough for me!

Nice to see you back, and to know why you haven´t been blogging for a while. No doubt, blogfriends are great as inspiration and gets part of ones daily life, bit by bit.
I hope you will post some photos of your new home, it sounds great.
