the dome from the last hillside

backlit bug
a little bug backlit by the wonderful light of New Mexico

how many birds fit in a nest
on my outing while Len was fishing the Red River I came across these little babes above an abandoned outhouse. Way fun!!!

building the doorways
all the while building. working all the time on the dome with breaks whenever for the finer things in life

magic pole
early morning on the Red, close to where Len saw a ermine one summer

A geodesic dome. Thats it in the different posts. Len started this project about 5 years ago on land he inherited from his family. first he had a sotarono (root cellar) dug and then we’ve been building as we have the money. No mortgage or payments of any kind. We will be in it by winter this year. Very exciting living off the grid
