this morning when I went out to my truck @ 6a.m., right across the hwy was a herd of elk. WOW

They are such large incredible animals to watch. About 15 to 20 including young still with their baby spots on them. And one young male with velvet on his antlers. They more so slow and even with all their bulk and weight, they move very gracefully.

I will post a photo when I get home tonight.
